Wow Nahid 60 ! You never stop surprising me ! Congratulations with this milestone. We started off as neighbours in Wassenaar. Always a huge big smile and such a warm and welcoming person . I know how, when we just moved in you had made drinks and some I believe some Samosas as a welcome . Wow what an amazing warm welcome that was I will always remember and from there it just continued . I remember when we were talking so much on our bikes to school that our steering wheels hit each other and we ended up in de bushes hahahahah we laughed so much there between the roses . Also that continued when we made a beautiful trip through Ethiopia . It was an amazing group and the laughs continued again . Such a warm, colourful kind, funny and open person always offering a helping hand .

Nahid is a dear friend for the past 39 years. It's a friendship which has stood the test of time. She is some one who is forthright and candid and can be trusted for life time.
We have our share of disagreements with her philosophies and out look of life but they are issue based and not personal. She is a very warm and compassionate person but at the same time she would call spade a spade.
Wish, Nahid a very happy 60th birthday and although she does not believe in god, will pray for her good health peace and abundance to the almighty..
Hope she lives up to her promise and that she would do a pole dance on her 80th birthday.

In '84, I knew very little about you other than your unlimited energy all seven days of the week, but I learned so many things as we grew older. We missed a few years of your presence amongst us, and it was great to catch up in Hong Kong, in 2009, over lunch at your place with Mahesh and Mihika. Since then never missed your presence amongst us.
Thank you for sharing moments of your life and being with us since 1984.
We wish you many more joy-filled years with your loved ones and would like to see you, Nahid, more often in the coming decades.
